Step 5: The Big Blind, the Small Blind, and the Other Seats

Key Points:

  1. If there are NO RAISERS, raise all-in pre-flop with AA-22, AK, AQ, AJ, and AT.
  2. If there are RAISERS, re-raise all-in pre-flop with AA, KK, QQ, and AK.
  3. Fold all other hands.
  4. Check the Big Blind and fold the Small Blind.
  5. DO NOT bluff.

  • Playing Big Blind -Your first hand
    • Rule #1: If someone raises, fold unless you have AA, KK, QQ, or AK
      • GO ALL IN if you have one of these hands
    • Rule #2: If you happen to get a Pocket Pair (AA-22) or AK,AQ,AJ,AT…GO ALL IN!!!
      • Warning: Do not CALL someone elses’ ALL IN unless (step1).
    • Rule #3: All other hands, check and see the flop.
      • If you flop 2 Pair or better, GO ALL IN!!! (Review Hand Rankings)
    • Fold everything else.
    • DO NOT bluff
  • Playing Small Blind -Your second hand
    • same rules as Big Blind except…
    • Rule#4: DO NOT call the $0.05
  • Playing the remaining seats - hand #3 - 9 (or 10)
    • same rules as Big Blind except…
    • Rule#5: DO NOT GO ALL IN with 22,33,44
  • Repeat until you have more than $2 or $0
    • If you lose, reload $2
    • If you have more than $2, leave when it’s your turn to post big blind
